Andrea Fehring
Marriage Equality Educator – (Funded by 2007 CMC Grant and employee of Lambda Legal)

Andrea has over 10 years experience as an educator and in the non-profit sector.  She has developed curricula and facilitated training for everyone from community college continuing education classes to national programs.  Her work includes research and evaluation experience while she served as Director of the Local Learning Partnership at United Way of Central Iowa.  Andrea has extensive strategic planning, program development, and grant writing experience for multiple projects from private foundations to federal grants.

As Marriage Equality Educator, Andrea hopes to combine her diverse experiences to execute a successful and strategic plan for marriage equality in the state of Iowa.
