
Ryan Crane
Regional Organizer
Ryan Crane is a recent graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. He graduated with Honors with an M.A. in Spanish in May 2008.
He has worked with and held leadership roles in several non-profit organizations, including PIRG (Public Interest Research Group), the Iowa Democratic Party, and the GLBT Chapter at UNI. He also chaired the White Ribbon Campaign, an effort to educate men on awareness of violence against women.
While working towards his Master's, he taught at the college level and wrote his thesis on gay male identity in Latin America. He has presented and faciliated at a number of scholarly workshops on these topics all around the Midwest.
Ryan enjoys bicycling, jogging, creative writing, and keeping up with current events and politics.
Ryan is originally from Council Bluffs, and lived in Cedar Falls from 2002-2008.
