What an exciting week! Though we have much to celebrate, we also have work to do!

Today we celebrate equality and freedom for all Iowans. Today hundreds of committed couples will now be recognized equally in the eyes of the state and granted civil marriage licenses. Please join us in congratulating these couples by signing our "virtual marriage guest book". Share this link with your friends and family so that we can gather messages from all who support marriage equality.

On Monday, committed gay and lesbian couples may apply for marriage licenses in Iowa.

Yesterday we launched our ad “This Place” which was well-received across Iowa. NOW, we need your help to keep this ad up on the air. We need your help to raise $25,000 which will be matched by a One Iowa supporter if we raise the full amount by April 30. Without your support and this matching donation we won’t be able to keep this ad up on the air.

Today we're excited to release our first television ad to continue our conversation with Iowans about the freedom to marry in Iowa. We need your help! Share this with your friends and family, and contribute to keep it on the air.

On Monday of next week, committed gay and lesbian couples will head to county recorders offices around the state to make their commitment official through the eyes of the law! At One Iowa, we know what a significant day this is for gay and lesbian couples.
