Clips from Simpson College Debate on Marriage Equality
Brad Clark, Campaign Director at One Iowa participated in a Constitution Day debate at Simpson College on September 16, 2009. The topic was marriage equality for gay and lesbian couples.
Clark was joined by John Stewart, a self-described "Christian Apologist" and attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund, an organization that is funding legal challenges to marriage equality across the country. He was invited by the anti-equality organization Iowa Family Policy Center.
Below is a collection of clips from the debate, including select questions and their respective answers from Clark and Stewart in their entirety. Clips are posted in the same order they occurred at the debate.
