Join us for One Iowa's Friends in Faith phone bank. Volunteers from Des Moines-area faith communities will be making phone calls for equality in our downtown office.
Members of all faiths are welcome as we celebrate the April 3rd Iowa Supreme Court decision protecting religious freedom and civil marriage rights for all Iowans. One Iowa will be hosting a potluck luncheon, and we would like to invite you to bring along your favorite dish to share during call time.
Your help is more important than ever! The National Organization for Marriage has launched an attack on equality as part of their plan to "Reclaim Iowa" for anti-gay interests. The work you do at the Friends in Faith phone bank could mean the difference between protecting marriage equality and seeing the first step toward overturning our historic Supreme Court decision.
