What an exciting week! Though we have much to celebrate, we also have work to do! Our ad "This Place" will be taken off the air, unless we reach our $25,000 goal! We are currently short and must reach this goal in the next 14 hours! If we can reach this critical goal, your contributions will be matched dollar for dollar and we'll be able to keep our ad on the air!
Anti-gay WHO radio host Jan Mickelson this week proclaimed that our TV ad, "This Place," was "a masterpiece of propaganda." Listen NOW to some of his worst comments from Monday, including calling Iowa a backwards state, then contribute to keep our ad on the air. Don't let Jan be the only voice on the airwaves in Iowa!
In the midst of anti-gay extremists who won't let up, we need to make a stand, and keep our TV ad on the air. Iowans are fair-minded, and our ad aims to change hearts and minds by spurring important everyday conversations.
