LGBT Family Pride Potluck this weekend!

Just a reminder that the LGBT Family Pride Potluck is Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the Urbandale United Church of Christ.

One Iowa and committees from the Urbandale United Church of Christ and the First Unitarian Church of Des Moines invite you to the LGBT Family Pride Potluck on Sunday, May 16th from 4:00 - 6:00pm. The event will be held at the Urbandale United Church of Christ.

The potluck will be a forum to have fun, share food, and enjoy the company of other families and allies. We're inviting Des Moines area legislators to build and strengthen the relationships between them and the families and allies in their districts. Our stories are a powerful and transformative way to counter the opposition's relentless efforts to take equality away from LGBT families.

Please mark your calendars and make it a priority to have fun and build community with LGBT parents and their children, friends, and allies.
