One Iowa readers get Melissa Etheridge tickets first!

As a special gift to One Iowa readers and supporters, the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines is releasing a limited number of advance tickets to Melissa Etheridge's concert on Aug. 14.

Seats are reserved in rows 11-22, and attendees will received the best available tickets on a first come, first served basis.

One of the greatest female rock icons, Melissa Etheridge is also a mother and a cancer survivor. She is an outspoken cultural, political and human rights activist, a thought-provoker and a longtime truth-seeker.

Her hits have rewarded her with five Platinum albums, a pair of Grammys, an Oscar, an ASCAP Songwriter of the Year honor and the ASCAP Founders Award. Her new album Fearless Love embodies much of what fans have come to anticipate from her.
