Staying Positive in the Face of Opposition!

Yesterday we launched our ad “This Place” which was well-received across Iowa. NOW, we need your help to keep this ad up on the air. We need your help to raise $25,000 which will be matched by a One Iowa supporter if we raise the full amount by April 30. Without your support and this matching donation we won’t be able to keep this ad up on the air. We only have one week. Please give now! This is our chance to get out this positive message about what marriage equality really means – fairness and respect for all Iowans. Our opponents are gaining strength and support and are likely to continue protesting and running negative ad campaigns. Many have heard that Fred Phelps will be in Iowa today and through early next week. We know he doesn’t want Iowans to hear our positive message. Phelps’ destructive attacks will be heard across the nation and he wants us to confront him with counter protest. Please do not give him what he wants. In the face of so much negativity, we ask you to do something positive. Rather than counter protest, we ask you to help us start a respectful conversation. Please GIVE NOW and ensure this advertisement and its positive message makes its way into every living room across Iowa. There are other constructive ways you can help.
