A rose for the two young men who were canvassing Altoona Monday evening with the petition in support of the Supreme Court decision that recognized the rights of all Iowans to marry. It is young people like these, who work to protect the rights for all people, who keep the rights for all of us safe. After all, if we, as a people, allow our elected representatives to take away the rights of any group, no matter how strange they may seem, the rights of everyone will be in danger. —Jackie Webster, Nevada
